For decades, Lebanon has called for change. Yet, the same divisions continue to shape how we see one another and live together.
At nafda, we encounter this daily through our work with students and school communities—creating spaces where they reflect, question, and act.
We turned to the voices of a new generation and asked them a simple question: What is the Lebanon you imagine growing up in?
Their answers reflect a clear and consistent aspiration for a Lebanon that feels more just, more dignified, and more unified.
These barriers are not only structural. They are sustained in everyday ways, through what we normalize, overlook, and choose to say or stay silent about.
Moving forward requires more than intention. It requires examining these patterns and making deliberate choices to act differently.
The generation speaking today is asking for something different, not in principle, but in practice.
If we want them to inherit a better Lebanon, then it’s on us—together—to build it, together.
